Terms of Service for Dream Interpreter

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dream Interpreter application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Dream Interpreter is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to provide interpretations of dreams submitted by users. The App offers:

  • Dream journaling functionality
  • AI-powered dream interpretations
  • Dream categorization features
  • Premium subscription options for unlimited interpretations

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You may use certain features of the App without creating an account. However, to access all features and sync your data across devices, you may need to create an account.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The App offers a limited number of free dream interpretations. After reaching this limit, a subscription is required for continued access to interpretation features.

4.2 Premium Subscription

  • Premium subscriptions are available on a weekly or annual basis
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

4.3 Free Trial

If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. We do not directly process refunds.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Dreams

You retain ownership of all dream content you submit to the App. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process your content for the purpose of providing dream interpretations.

5.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to submit content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Infringing on others' intellectual property rights
  • Containing personal information of third parties without consent

6. AI Interpretations Disclaimer

6.1 Entertainment Purpose

Dream interpretations provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

6.2 Not Professional Advice

Interpretations are NOT:

  • Medical advice
  • Psychological or psychiatric counseling
  • Professional therapy or treatment
  • Definitive or scientifically validated analyses

6.3 Seek Professional Help

If you are experiencing mental health concerns, anxiety, recurring nightmares, or sleep disorders, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 App Ownership

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated systems to access the App
  • Resell or redistribute the App or its content
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time and cancel your subscription through your App Store settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

10.3 Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or that it will be error-free.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
