By downloading, installing, or using the Smart Budget Manager mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Offline-first architecture (data stored locally on your device)

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Smart Budget Manager
Users between 13-18 must have parental consent
Users under 18 should use the App under parental supervision for financial decisions

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device
You are responsible for all activities that occur through your use of the App
You must provide accurate information when using the App

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

You may use Smart Budget Manager for:

Personal financial management and tracking
Creating budgets and financial goals
Generating reports for personal use
Educational purposes related to financial literacy

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Smart Budget Manager for:

Using promotional codes fraudulently or sharing them publicly
Attempting to access data from other users' devices

Premium Features Include:

Subscription Plans

Monthly Subscription: Recurring monthly billing
Annual Subscription: Recurring yearly billing with savings
Lifetime Purchase: One-time payment for permanent access

Billing and Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
Billing occurs through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)
Subscription management and cancellation must be done through your app store account
Refunds are subject to app store policies (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)

Free Trial Periods

New users may be eligible for free trial periods as advertised
Trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled
You can cancel during the trial period to avoid charges

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes provide temporary premium access (typically 30 days)
Each promotional code can only be used once per user
Promotional codes cannot be combined with other offers
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional codes at any time

6. User Content and Data

You retain all rights to your financial data entered into Smart Budget Manager
Your data remains stored locally on your device
We do not claim ownership of your personal financial information

Data Backup Responsibility

Smart Budget Manager stores data locally on your device only
You are responsible for backing up your data through export features
We recommend regularly exporting your data to prevent loss
Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all local data

Receipt Images

Receipt images are stored locally on your device
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to photograph and store receipts
We recommend keeping original receipts for important transactions

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Data Processing

All financial calculations and analysis occur locally on your device
Your financial data is never transmitted to external servers for processing
We collect minimal data necessary for app functionality

Third-Party Services

We use RevenueCat for subscription management (minimal data sharing)
No analytics or advertising services are integrated
Camera and photo library access requires your explicit permission

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Rights

The App's design, functionality, and code are protected by intellectual property laws
You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the App

Always verify important calculations independently

Service Availability

We strive for reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
App store policies may affect app availability
We reserve the right to modify features or discontinue the service

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made using Smart Budget Manager
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any)
We are not responsible for device malfunctions, data loss, or third-party issues
You use Smart Budget Manager at your own risk

11. Indemnification

12. Termination

Effect of Termination
