Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SnapCal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

SnapCal is a calorie and nutrition tracking application that uses AI technology to analyze food photos and estimate nutritional content. The App allows you to:

  • Scan food photos to get nutritional estimates
  • Track daily calorie and macro intake
  • Set and monitor nutritional goals
  • View meal history and progress

Disclaimer

Nutritional Information Accuracy

The nutritional information provided by SnapCal is estimated using AI technology and should be considered approximate. The App is:

  • NOT a medical device
  • NOT intended for medical diagnosis or treatment
  • NOT a substitute for professional nutritional advice

Actual nutritional values may vary based on:

  • Portion sizes
  • Preparation methods
  • Ingredient variations
  • Food brands and sources

Always consult a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for accurate nutritional guidance, especially if you have health conditions or dietary restrictions.

Subscription Terms

Premium Features

SnapCal offers premium features through subscription plans:

  • Weekly Plan: Billed weekly
  • Annual Plan: Billed annually

Free Trial

Some subscription plans may include a free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
  • No refunds for partial subscription periods
  • Access to premium features continues until the end of the billing period

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing cycles.

User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
  • Not use the App for any illegal purposes
  • Not share your account or subscription with others
  • Provide accurate information when using the App

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of SnapCal, including but not limited to software code, design elements, graphics and icons, text and documentation are owned by SnapCal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • SnapCal is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutritional estimates
  • We are not liable for any health decisions made based on App data
  • We are not responsible for any damages arising from App use

IN NO EVENT SHALL SnapCal BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SnapCal, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time
  • Modify or discontinue the App without notice
  • Remove content that violates these Terms

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
