Terms of Service for VidToSound

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VidToSound ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to use the App.

2. Description of Service

VidToSound is a mobile application that allows users to:

  • Convert video files to MP3 audio format
  • Manage converted audio files
  • Access premium features through subscription

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Convert only videos you own or have permission to convert
  • Respect intellectual property rights of others
  • Not use the App to convert copyrighted material without authorization
  • Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App for commercial purposes without a commercial license

You agree NOT to:

  • Convert copyrighted videos without permission
  • Distribute converted files that violate copyright laws
  • Use the App to create derivative works from copyrighted content
  • Share your account or subscription with others
  • Use automated systems or software to access the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Copyright Compliance

Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to convert and use any video content. We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.

DMCA Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used inappropriately, please contact us with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good faith belief
  • A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury

Our Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by VidToSound and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Premium Subscription Terms

Subscription Options

  • Weekly: $2.99 USD per week
  • Monthly: $4.99 USD per month
  • Annual: $39.99 USD per year

Subscription Features

Premium subscribers receive:

  • High-quality 320 kbps audio conversion
  • Unlimited conversions
  • Ad-free experience
  • Priority customer support
  • Advanced file management features

Billing and Renewal

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off in Account Settings

Free Trial

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

6. User Content and Data

Your Content

  • You retain all rights to your original video files and converted MP3 files
  • You grant us no rights to your content beyond what is necessary to provide the service
  • All conversions are processed locally on your device

Data Usage

  • We do not store or have access to your video or audio files
  • Your files remain on your device unless you choose to share them

7. Disclaimers

Service Availability

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available"
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time

No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Conversion Quality

  • We strive to provide high-quality conversions but cannot guarantee perfect results for all video formats
  • Conversion quality depends on the source video quality
  • Some video formats may not be supported

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL VIDTOSOUND, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VidToSound and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and VidToSound regarding the use of the App, superseding any prior agreements.

Export Control

You may not use or export the App in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for third-party websites or services.
