• Food photos for AI nutritional analysis (processed via Google Gemini API)
• Meal logs, nutritional data, and timestamps (stored locally)
• Profile information: dietary goals, height, weight, age (stored locally)
• Intermittent fasting windows and streak data
• Anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)
• Crash reports for app stability
• Subscription status (via RevenueCat)

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Health data from HealthKit
• Food photos are not stored on our servers after analysis

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the app's core functionality
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience

• Send push notifications (if enabled by you)
• Manage your subscription and process payments through Apple App Store

Local Storage: All your personal data and app content are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your personal content to our servers.

Cloud Services We Use:

• Firebase Remote Config — App configuration management
• RevenueCat — Subscription management (processes purchase data through Apple)

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Anonymized, aggregated data may be shared with analytics providers to improve our services.

• Access: View all data stored in the app at any time
• Delete: Remove all your data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in device settings
• Opt-out: Disable analytics in your device settings

CaloLens is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

We implement appropriate security measures including local device storage, HTTPS encryption for any network communications, and restricted transmission of sensitive data to external servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
